Warcraft III patch to add features (PC

Blizzard has announced that many of the interface and Battle.net enhancements created for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne will soon be available to players of the original game.

The 1.10 update will make several enhancements to the Warcraft III interface, adding a minimap view that shows creep locations, the ability to queue buildings, and the ability to put both units and upgrades in the same queue. The update also adds clan support and a range of other Battle.net features, such as a new “referee” observer type and new filtering options.

The patch will first be available via Battle.net’s auto-update feature. As mentioned above, these features were designed for the Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne expansion pack, which is due out next week.
