A Dutch prisoner claims he is running an escort service for other inmates.

The inmate of De Geniepoort jail in Alphen aan de Rijn told De Telegraaf that his business is a big success.

He says he arranges for prostitutes, posing as prisoners’ girlfriends or wives, to have conjugal visits.

And the inmate, who’s serving 14 years for murder, says the inmates can even get condoms and viagra from the prison doctor.

He said: “It’s all very legal. Every prisoner is allowed to have visits from their girlfriend or wife without supervision. In prison there are special rooms for it. But a lot of prisoners don’t have a girlfriend and want to see a woman.

When they pay for it I organise some ladies to come and visit them twice for ten minutes. The third time they can have sex for an hour, which costs 500 euro.”

De Telegraaf say the man sent the editor a picture of himself posing with the computer he says he uses to run the escort service.

However, Dutch prison authorities say the man is lying and that he does not even have access to a computer.

A spokesman said: “Prisoners have only a telephone card, that’s all. That man doesn’t have a computer nor facilities to run an escort service office in his cell.”
